It's been awhile and I have quite a few updates on the pregnancy.
*Went to the high risk ob and he decided not to do a cerclage. He just wants us to keep an eye on things, and he feels I have a good chance of going full term with how my cervix is looking now. I'll really know more on my June 15th appointment, because that's when the cervix typically starts to show a change.
*He was concerned about my thyroid (as is every doctor I've ever seen in the last 2+ years). So, I got bloodwork done and it was functioning mid-range. Dr.M decided to send me to a thyroid specialist (again). Dr.S (endocronologist) is wanting us to follow up with bloodwork in 6 weeks, and since I'm pregnant doesn't really want to do a biopsy or put me on meds right now. So, again, just waiting it out.
*My next regular appt. is on June 8th, and my BIG u/s is on June 15th! We will be finding out the sex then. However, we may find out sooner if my uncle can get me in for an u/s next week. I really hope he can because I am sooooo impatient!
Also, I'm feeling GREAT! I'm eating tons (still haven't gained any weight), craving a variety of things, and not getting sick anymore (knock on wood).
We haven't really been talking about names much until we know what it is. We have a list of our top girls names and are pretty much in agreeance on them. Boy's names are a totally different story though. Jason doesn't really have any favorite boys names, I have one and he hates it. So, if it's a boy this is gonna be interesting.
In other news. Yayy for Kris winning American Idol! And, for fans taking the whole meaning of the show back. Being on a major broadway production should exclude you from Idol. Don't get me wrong I liked Adam, but that just wasn't what idol was about in the beginning. We need true unfound talents, not someone who can make it without Idol.
Also, one of the most beautiful love stories of our time ended on Monday. Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton left One Tree Hill for the last time. Their last episode was so beautiful, but it was bitter sweet. I don't know what the future of this show holds, but as a dedicated fan I'll be watching even with them gone. And, the fact that Austin Nichols is going to be a regular helps my decision, because he is gorgeous!!!
London got ahold of scissors yesterday and cut her hair! I notice it big time, but luckily I don't think it's the noticable to someone that doesn't know.
I turn 25 tomorrow!! We are going to the Zoo, our new favorite place. We went last Friday and had a great time. London loved it! We got a membership, so we'll be going a lot this summer. It's nice to have something to do that only costs you the gas to get there and sack lunches. After we go this time we will have already made our money back for Admission and parking.
Well, that's about all for now. I'll update maybe next week if we find out the gender!

Pregnancy Journal
Ok, so I totally lied and didn't even post anything after my first blog.. I do have a totally good excuse though! We are expecting! I will be 3 months on Saturday... So, this blog is now going to turn into a pregnancy blogspot, at least for the time being. I'll use it to update, post pictures, etc.
So thus far, things have gone pretty good. A little rocky, but nothing too bad... If you know me, you know that my last pregnancy was very VERY bad. This time around I have been pretty sick as well, but no hospitalizations so far to report due to hydration (although a few times I thought that's where I was headed). One big difference this time though is that I am actually having cravings!! I didn't realize the power of those things last time around, because last time I craved nothing. Just smelling or seeing ANY food last pregnancy was enough to send me sprinting towards the bathroom. I've went through spurts so far. During weeks 4-8 I could barely eat or drink anything. Weeks 9-11 all I wanted was hamburgers and mashed potatoes. (I don't even typically eat beef, so this was weird for me). This week 11-12 I am all about chicken tenders and breadsticks with pizza sauce (which is the only meat I ate consistently before I was pregnant). Before this week just the thought of chicken gave me goosebumps and made me gag. Now, I have had it 3 days in a row. oh yeah, and I forgot to mention banana splits! Dairy Queen banana splits (double strawberry, no chocolate) are my favorite meal at the moment. And yes I do mean meals, sometimes that is all I will have for dinner... hey baby loves banana splits too. I still get sick about 4-5 times a day, but it isn't nearly as bad as before.
My doctor also discussed bedrest this time around, and there is just no way that is feasible. When he said it, I about fell off the bed. I have an appointment at OSU on Tuesday (5th) to see what they want to do about my cervix. Long story short, I have an incompetent cervix that will shorten as the baby gets larger and thus could cause pre-term labor. Last time it was controlled with bedrest because it was caught too late, but this time they may want to take other preventative measures such as a cerclage..... I'm hoping not, because just the thought of the cerclage makes me nervous.
At the last appt. (9 weeks 4 days) baby was measuring perfectly and the heartbeat was wonderful. Only 6 more weeks until we find out the gender and I cannot wait!!! I want to try those over the counter things that say they can tell the sex, but I know they are probably just preying on us poor pregnant ladies who have no patience! I say it's a girl and Jason says boy. London says both depending on who she is trying to suck up to at the moment.
I am really going to keep this thing up to date now, I promise!

Gonna try this out!
Sooooo........ I've been blogging for awhile (on myspace), but mostly just about things going on in my life, my daughter, recent marriage, etc..... nothing too exciting, although I did have quite a following for awhile :)
But, recently I've been thinking about doing an ACTUAL blog about real things. I'm really thinking like current events, tv shows (my favorite thing according to the hubby). A variety of things really, whatever happens to be on my mind.....
Now, in the past I've gotten a bit bored with these types of things, so I'm hoping that doesn't happen here.... I've been on the computer a lot lately since my only job is substitute teaching and it's not a full-time thing. I frequent a couple of forums, both local and on a bigger scale so I get in tons of debates and discussions about an array of issues......
I'm already thinking I know what my first REAL blog will be about. I'll probably post it tomorrow, providing I have the time. So, I'm gonna start out saying I'm hoping to post a couple of blogs a week, but hopefully I find time for more, as I really love to talk about the issues that are important to me, and sometimes the hubby gets tired of listening!
